Start with a $55 deposit today, then three installments by June 30. Your cruise cabin is booked separately through Eat Sip Travel — Margaritaville emails you a personal booking link and you pay your $150 cabin deposit directly on their platform.
How does the cabin payment schedule work? ✦
Simple and seamless. Once your CE deposit is received, we submit your info to Eat Sip Travel, our official travel partner. Margaritaville at Sea then emails you directly with a personal booking link — select your cabin, add guests, and pay your $150 cabin deposit directly on Margaritaville's platform. All remaining cabin payments are made per Margaritaville's own schedule.
Can I deduct this on my taxes? ✦
Many agents are able to deduct DBPR-approved professional development events as a business expense. Talk to your CPA — combining a legitimate CE seminar with travel may qualify as a deductible business trip. We provide documentation to support your claim.
Do I have to go to every class? ✦
Yes — attendance is required for all CE sessions to receive credit, per DBPR regulations. Classes are scheduled on sea days only (Wednesday and Friday), so your Cozumel day is completely free. All evening social events are 100% optional.
Can I bring my spouse or a non-agent guest? ✦
Absolutely! Non-agent guests are welcome to book a cabin and sail with you. They simply won't attend the CE sessions. Triple and quadruple occupancy options are available to reduce the per-person cabin cost.
What travel documents do I need? ✦
A valid passport is strongly recommended. A US passport card or birth certificate + government-issued ID may be accepted for closed-loop sailings from Tampa, but a full passport is always safest. Check Margaritaville at Sea's current travel requirements for full details.
