π The CE Hours & DBPR
Is this actually DBPR approved?
Yes. All 14 CE hours are DBPR-approved through The Inspired Agent Academy, a licensed Florida real estate school. Your hours are reported directly to DBPR after the sailing and count toward your Florida license renewal. You'll receive your CE certificates within 48 hours of disembarkation.
Which CE hours does this satisfy?
All 14 hours required for Florida Real Estate Agent license renewal:
- 3 hours β Core Ethics (NamastΓ© Out of Trouble)
- 3 hours β Core Law (CSI: Florida Real Estate)
- 8 hours β Specialty Electives (4 x 2-hour courses)
That's the full cycle. Nothing extra needed if you're current on your hours otherwise.
Do I have to attend every class?
Yes β attendance is required for all CE sessions to receive credit, per DBPR regulations. The good news: classes are only on sea days (Wednesday and Friday). Your Cozumel day on Thursday is completely instruction-free. All evening social events are 100% optional.
What if I only need some of the hours?
The $1,500 CE fee covers the full 14-hour package as designed. We don't offer partial CE packages at this time. If you only need a few hours, you're still welcome to join β you'll just receive certificates for all courses attended, and DBPR will record what's reported.
π° Pricing & Payment
What's the total cost all-in?
There are two completely separate costs, paid to two different parties:
- CE Education Fee β $1,500 paid to The Inspired Agent Academy. Start with a your registration. Balance paid in installments: $155 by April 30, $155 by May 31, $155 by June 30.
- Cruise Cabin β booked through Eat Sip Travel, our official travel partner. Interior from $168.15 + $202.48 port fees, taxes & gratuity. Balcony from $263.15 + $202.48. Your $150 cabin deposit is paid directly to Margaritaville when you complete your booking.
Remember β these are two completely separate costs:
CE Education Fee (The Inspired Agent Academy): $1,500 per agent, regardless of room type or occupancy. One agent = one CE fee.
Cruise Cabin (Margaritaville via Eat Sip Travel):

Balcony: $263.15 per person + $202.48 per person port fees, taxes & gratuity

Talk to your CPA β the CE fee and your cruise may both qualify as tax-deductible professional development.

How do I pay the CE fee and what about the cabin deposit?
CE Fee (paid to The Inspired Agent Academy):
Pay by credit or debit card through our secure Square checkout β either $1,500 in full or starting with your your registration. All CE payments are made through the same Square link on the
Pricing page.
Cabin Deposit (paid directly to Margaritaville):
Once your CE deposit is received, we submit your info to Eat Sip Travel, our official travel partner. Margaritaville then emails you a personal cabin booking link. Your $150 cabin deposit is paid directly to Margaritaville on their platform β it never comes through us. Contact Eat Sip Travel with cabin questions: Elizabeth Weingart at (786) 253-0036.
Can I write this off on my taxes?
Many agents can deduct DBPR-approved professional development events as a business expense. Combining a legitimate CE seminar with travel may qualify as a deductible business trip β including the cruise. We strongly recommend consulting your CPA, who can determine what applies to your situation. We provide documentation to support your claim.
π’ The Cruise
Who do I book the cruise cabin through?
All cruise cabin bookings are coordinated through our official travel partner
Eat Sip Travel β contact Elizabeth Weingart at
eatsiptravelwithbeth@gmail.com or (786) 253-0036. Do NOT book directly through Margaritaville at Sea β you won't get the group pricing or the group experience.
What's included in the cruise cabin pricing?
The cabin fare covers your stateroom. The $202.48 in additional fees covers port fees, taxes, and gratuity. Not included in the cabin fare: specialty dining, drinks (outside of sponsored events), excursions in Cozumel, spa services, and casino. Budget accordingly β the ship has plenty of ways to enjoy yourself.
Can I bring my spouse, partner, or a non-agent guest?
Absolutely. Non-agent guests are welcome to book a cabin and sail with you β they simply won't attend CE sessions. Triple and quadruple occupancy options are available to lower the per-person cabin cost significantly. Contact Eat Sip Travel to discuss room configurations.
What's the ship and where does it sail?
We're sailing on the Margaritaville Islander, departing from the Port of Tampa on September 15, 2026 and returning September 19. Port of call is Cozumel, Mexico β that's your Thursday. No CE, all adventure.
π Travel & Documents
What travel documents do I need?
A valid US passport is strongly recommended β it's the safest option and removes all uncertainty. A US passport card or original birth certificate + government-issued photo ID may be accepted for closed-loop sailings from Tampa, but a full passport gives you the most flexibility (especially if there's any emergency requiring you to fly home). Don't risk it.
What if I don't have a passport?
Standard passport processing takes 6β8 weeks. Expedited processing takes 2β3 weeks. With sailing on September 15, 2026, you have time β but don't wait. Visit
travel.state.gov to apply. If you need help figuring out timing, Text or email us and we can point you in the right direction.
π The Experience
What's included in the $1,500 CE fee besides the classes?
Your CE fee includes all class sessions, digital workbooks, course materials, CE certificates, DBPR reporting, and access to all VIP onboard networking events β including the Welcome Cocktail Hour, Skyway Sail Away Celebration, Casino Night, and Closing Sunset Ceremony. Evening social activities are optional but included in your experience.
What's the party bus and do I have to take it?
We're organizing an optional group party bus departing from Inspired Nooks Realty the morning of September 15. It includes sponsored breakfast bites, drink tickets, priority boarding group status, and bonus raffle entries. It's optional β you can absolutely drive or arrange your own transportation to the port β but it's a great way to start the experience together.
What are the evening events like?
Every evening has optional programming β casino night, group dinners, the Karaoke Pitch Night in Cozumel, and the Closing Sunset Ceremony with grand prizes. All are optional except the Closing Ceremony. The vibe is professional but fun β think real networking, real conversations, and yes, actual fun. No mandatory fun. (Well, maybe a little.)
How many agents will be there?
We're capping at 30 agents. This is intentional. It keeps the experience boutique, the networking meaningful, and the classroom energy high. You'll know everyone's name by day two. That's the whole point.
β Still Have Questions?
How do I register and what happens next?
